Oh! Lord Pasupathi, You are the
savior of Brahmacharin/who observe celibacy, Grahastha/who follows married life
or Sanyasin/ascetic or the Vanaprastha/ who observe Vanaprasthashrama dwells in
the woodland with matted hair lock. You will become the rescuer from the worldly
bondages of your devotees whoever worships you with utmost faith and surrender
to you.
Oh! Lord Shambo, It’s worthless
to live in a Cave or house, woodlands or mountain or hilly areas, water or fire
without the knowledge of Supreme Lord.
Whoever practices the art of true devotion and whose heart and mind is
constantly immersed in the thought of your lotus feet is called Yoga and the person
is known as Parama Yogi, he leads a perfect and peaceful life.
Oh! Lord Pasupathi, I have been wandering through the ocean of
Samsara/ drooped in worldly matters without self knowledge or supreme
knowledge, I was leading a life of a blind in utter ignorance without the knowledge of meditation. I earnestly pray to protect me with your
compassion. You are the supreme Lord in
the three worlds I am poorest among the poorer, I have no one to protect me
other than you.
Oh! Lord Pasupathi, You are the
savior of your next of kin, I am one amongst them requires your
protection. Oh! Lord Shiva, should I
explain my attachment to you? All my
accumulated sins are pardonable by you only and you are my savior.
Oh! Lord Pasupathi, I earnestly
pray not to be indifferent to me though I am selfish and not meditating upon
you sincerely due my destiny shaped by Lord Brahma that was not rewritten by
you. If you are not capable to do so,
how did you pluck the fifth head of Lord Brahma effortlessly with your finger
nails?
Oh! Supreme Lord! Unblemished beauty!
Let Lord Brahma live long, let the remaining four heads of Lord Brahma should
be protected by you, because he is the creator of my destiny. Oh! Compassionate Lord, I have no qualms
because your momentary look is capable to protect me.
Oh! Supreme Lord, if you happen to
appear before me due to my devoutness or your compassion I am powerless to
envision your flawless lotus feet, because
there are already throng of deities assembled impatiently waiting to venerate
you, therefore your lotus feet are completely covered with their marvelous
crowns which obstructs my vision.
Oh! Supreme Lord Shiva, you are
the provider of liberation to all the creatures in the Universe, Lord Vishnu
has attained the supreme place with your blessings and he keeps venerate you
eulogize you. Your compassion has no
bounds and my desires are endless. I am waiting for your fleeting look of
compassion and protection.
Oh! Supreme Lord Shiva, I have
been going through the never-ending hardships by drooping in the worldly
matters. Due to my endless desires I
have been into the illicit association and
committed innumerable sins thereby I am experiencing extreme pain and
agonies. I earnestly pray to eradicate
my miseries and sorrow, why you are so indifferent to me? Or whom do you favor
in this matter? Oh! Lord, if you are pleased with my agonies, then it would
please me too.
Oh! Supreme Lord Shiva, my mind
is wandering in the woods like world of illusion; I am easily getting attracted
to the enthralling physical features of young maidens, my endless desires
overruling me. Oh! Lord Shiva who
carries skull for seeking alms, I earnestly pray to tie my mind and its
thoughts which act like monkey and take me to the path of firm devotion to you.
